The fire prevention system is designed to detect a fire in the shortest possible time, it is always complemented by a manual detection system (fire button) that allows human reporting. In both cases, the alarm signal is transmitted and displayed at a central control unit or a personal computer; this will trigger the necessary procedures for indicating a fire (acoustic plaques, exit route signalling, etc.) and possibly alerting an Emergency Response Centre.

Management of fire prevention systems

DI. M.A.R.C.A. is able to offer the best products on the market, designing intelligent systems thanks to our experience and continuous investment in research into high-performance, reliable, technologically advanced systems. These systems and components (thermal and optical detection sensors, manual buttons, modules, add-ons, etc.) can be identified individually from the control panel providing detailed information about the status of the system and its operating state (fault, pre-alarm, alarm, maintenance requirement).

This information is sent to the Control Panel, which notifies the operator to act on the component via personal computer or display. In the event of a fire alarm, the necessary fire indication procedures (acoustic plaques, emergency lighting and escape routes) will start automatically, if there is a pre-alarm, the operator will check whether this is a false alarm (e.g. cigarette smoke) or not and start fire indication procedures. If it is attached to a radio or telephone dialler facility, it can automatically alert the emergency response centre. G

We offer the solution of managing, monitoring and interacting with the entire fire prevention system by installing software on a local or remote pc, which, via an easy and intuitive interface, informs the operator about:

  • The state of the system
  • The status of individual components (faults, pre-alarm, alarm, maintenance required).
  • Information for the operator on what to do in case of an alarm, fault, etc.
  • The ability to quickly locate the fire (using graphics pages that display the layout of the building).
  • The ability to view the fire through cameras (thus avoiding the risk to the operator of physically going to check the area). The ability to send calls, sms and emails to surveillance companies.
